Recent changes in rules and regulations proved to have a major effect on our humble, Iranian team. We are no longer able to sustain ourselves on the highest level in OCM. Outside our two specialisms only 120 points have been acquired the past 45 days.
The unwelcoming effect is that Team Oasis dropped down before Whistler - Vanocuver, a race we attended to with great succes the past 4 seasons. This season would have been no different with the rider to beat in our ranks. We are sorry for Yanik that he could not extend his result list. Its also a pity that we couldn't battle with our two major rivals AnnoDomini and Jubalon ProCycling and two other regular, great opponents FretexHIBAS and Cyclocomotiv.
As things continue the way they are now, we might miss far more battles with some of the best opponents in OCM. The irony of it all is that the leading downhill team wants to stay up instead of going down. And my-oh-my we sink fast. There is a silver lining though, we have some challenges left in division two that we could finally consider doing.
So this season is way over, but next season can become fun. It will be used to test out the strenght of Nick Boezeman, Dominic Haidegger, Helmut Gott and Plinio Taveira. The run for captaincy in the very near future is very much open. Who will prove himself worthy? And will this bunch make the rise in season 41?
If things go really bad we might even drop down to third as Team Oasis more or less skipped that division in the past. A great division packed with interesting challenges.

As Simon said, thanks for the compliment. I am sure our rather steep paths will cross again soon :)
Major rival? Thanks for the compliment Nooky! But dont worry, you will be just fine. Plus there are some very good rivals for you in div 2 as well - Odfjell Tankers, trackstah07...
Good luck and perhaps we will race the same races, now and then
